1. Signing Up & Logging In
Creating your Best Quote Pro account is quick and easy. Visit our Sign Up page and fill in your details. Once registered, you'll receive a verification email. Click the link in the email to verify your account. After verification, you can Log In to access your dashboard.
2. Exploring Your Dashboard
Upon logging in, you'll land on your personalised Dashboard. This is your central hub for a quick overview of your recent activity, profile information, and quick links to key features. We aim to make it intuitive and informative.
3. Adding Your First Client
Before creating quotes, it's helpful to add your clients. Navigate to the Clients section from the sidebar. Click on "Add New Client" and fill in their details such as name, email, phone, and company. This information will be readily available when you generate quotes, saving you time.
4. Creating Your First Quote
Head over to the New Quote page via the sidebar. This is where the magic happens. You can select an existing client or add one on the fly. Provide your project details, a brief, and pricing information. The integrated Best Quote Pro Engine will help refine your text, ensuring your quote is professional and persuasive. You can also choose from various templates to match the job type from the Templates Library.
5. Setting Up Your Profile & Branding
Personalise your Best Quote Pro experience and ensure your quotes reflect your brand. Go to Settings (usually accessible from the sidebar or user menu). Here, you can update your profile information (name, company name, phone), upload your company logo, and set your brand's primary colour. This branding will be automatically applied to your quotes for a consistent look.

QuickBooks Integration
When you sync a quote to QuickBooks, it is created as an Estimate. This allows you to maintain a professional proposal stage within your accounting system without affecting your ledger until the work is finalised.
- How to Sync: Connect your account in Settings, then click "Sync to QuickBooks" on any quote.
- Finding your data: In QuickBooks Online, navigate to Sales > Estimates to find your synced quotes.
Xero Integration
Xero quotes are synced as Draft Invoices. This places the quote directly into your invoicing pipeline, ready to be approved and sent once the client gives the green light.
- How to Sync: Connect your account in Settings, then click "Sync to Xero" on any quote.
- Finding your data: In Xero, navigate to Business > Invoices > Draft.

Login Problems
- Forgot Password: If you've forgotten your password, use the "Forgot password?" link on the Login page. You'll receive an email with instructions to reset it (Note: This functionality needs to be fully implemented if not already).
- Email Not Verified: Ensure you've verified your email address after signing up by clicking the link in the verification email. If you haven't received it, check your spam/junk folder. You can usually resend the verification email from a prompt on the login page after a failed login attempt due to non-verification.
- Incorrect Credentials: Double-check your email and password. Ensure caps lock is off and there are no typos.
Quote Creation & Best Quote Pro Refinement Issues
- Form Errors: If you see error messages when submitting forms (e.g., creating a client or quote), please review the indicated fields for missing or incorrect information. Required fields are often marked with an asterisk.
- Best Quote Pro Generation Not Working:
- Ensure you have a stable internet connection.
- The Best Quote Pro engine may be temporarily unavailable. You can check our System Status page for any known service disruptions.
- Ensure your input text provides enough detail for the engine to process effectively.
- If the problem persists, please contact support with details of the brief you were trying to use.
- Saving Data: If you encounter issues saving clients or quotes, ensure all required fields are completed. Check your internet connection. If problems persist, note any error messages and contact support.
Display or Layout Issues
- Clear Browser Cache: Sometimes, old cached files can cause display problems. Try clearing your browser's cache and cookies, then reload the page.
- Update Your Browser: Ensure your web browser (e.g., Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge) is updated to the latest version for optimal compatibility and security.
- Disable Browser Extensions: Temporarily disable browser extensions, especially ad blockers or script modifiers, to see if one is interfering with the site's functionality.
- Responsive View: If the layout looks strange on a particular device, try resizing your browser window or checking on a different screen size to see if it's a responsive design issue. Report specific device/browser issues to support.
